First Time...............
for Miss Cailtan. We as a family have always gone to the Nativity Pageant every year. It is one of our favorite events to do at Christmas time. However, the last few years since Caitlan was born we have been taking turns, either Jeff would take Cammie or I would. Caitlan does not like unfamiliar territory! This is the first year in ummm--7 years we got to go as a FAMILY. I was throughly prepared to have to wait in the halls with Caitlan if she didn't do well. However, I thought it was worth a try this year to see what happened (armed with a chocolate bar and cup of water, helped) and SHE LOVED IT!
What a wonderful time we had and it brings the true meaning of Christmas to all. The girls love to go, Cammie ask every year. So now we will all be able to go as a family! What a blessing!

Rae Ann -I LOVE your Blog! i saw this and HAD to comment. As a child we always went to the Nativity Pageant -every year! A few years back, I decided to take my niece, Kolliope (can you tell she's from the Greek side?!?!) who was around 5 at the time. She was the oldest -having 2 siblings ages 23 months and 11 months at the time. We came early to get a good seat and were really close to the edge so we could see everything. Kollie was so excited to see all the animals and we talked about everything we saw. She really liked it when they brought out the sheep. As the production was about to start, the lights went down, everything got quiet, and Kolliope yells "shew-we I think someone needs to change Baby Jesus's diaper!" Everyone around us snickered and it has become one of my favorite Christmas memories. I think it also brings out the true meaning of Christmas -not the wonder and amazement, but the human part of Jesus's birth!
