Babies,Babies, and more Babies

What is so cute no matter the species----BABIES! We had two mommy birds this year to build nest in our backyard and have babies. The first picture is of our new baby Cardinals, little bitty red birds as Caitlan says. Pictures was taken just a day or two after hatching.



This next few pictures are of our new little Robin babies. These hold a special place in my heart. We got to watch the mommy and daddy bird work very hard in building the nest. Then after they were done working so hard on the nest. We got a chance to see the 3 little eggs inside the
nest. We watched everyday as the mommy sat very paitently
on her nest and daddy brought her food. Daddy was a very hard working bird. Then sure enough we had babies. I got pictures of them everyday from the day they hatched to the day they left the nest. Birds grow very fast, it was amazing from one day to the next how much bigger they were. And we thought children grew fast!! Not as fast as birdies do! The robins stayed in their nest longer than the cardinals did. Mommy and Daddy robin were much better parents and worked twice as hard feeding and taking care of the babies. Thanks to mommy bird for letting me snap shots of her little one's!! God's creatures are sooooooo amazing. As you can tell I enjoyed this experience as much as the girls did. OH, they are sooo cute!
