We have watched ................

her grow into a young woman that we could not be more proud of. This is Meghan, she is Cammie's best friend. Cammie and Meghan have been friends for many years. I think we met Meghan at about the age of 5 or 6. She is now going to be 18 soon. This past Friday night she graduated from High school. We are so proud of her. So in honor of her graduation, I got the chance to do a photo session with her. We took her to the UT gardens and took some pictures of her. Here are just a few......

Pool time in Tennessee.......

Everyone has been asking what have we been up to lately. Well, this is what!!! POOL. The last couple months it has been cleaning and preparing the pool for opening day. Now that it has been open for the last week, we have been living at the pool. If you remember last year we couldn't get Cammie to go at all, well guess what......... this year she has gone everyday with us and it is making it so much more fun. She has been having a good time as well as Caitlan. We had to go and get her two new bathing suits as she has lost weight and couldn't keep hers up from last year. That is a great problem to have! 8) I am so proud of her. So here are a few photos that I took of the girls at the pool.

Of course Caitlan is my all time water dog! This is the way I see her! Go Caitlan!!!!

Look aren't they so cute peeking over the wall! They both have their mask on. Caitlan had to get a mask to match sissy's this year.
I guess this means summer is officially here! YEE HAW!!!

My Cammie is...............

becoming a great photographer. Stick with me a few minutes as I brag on my daughter. I am one proud momma. Cammie took these photos this weekend at a birthday party. I think she did an awesome job! I just had to share these with everyone, so you could see just what a great job she is doing. Are these photos not the best??? This little girl (Miss M) is beautiful, her eyes are gorgeous. Cammie loves photographing her.

Norris Dam..........

For the first time in many years TVA has opened the dam at Norris. The girls and I took a little drive up to the dam yesterday to see it. It is amazing to see the amount of water coming over. The girls were just as thrilled as I was in getting to see it. Caitlan especially loved it. Cammie was into photographing it.

The girls thought it looked like snow! It did! We had a good time, had supper out and then back home.

Flowers, Birds and the..........

perfect day! Yesterday was a gorgeous day, so us girls ventured off for the afternoon. We got outside, went to the park, stopped at Lowe
s, and had a wonderful time. The picture above is of my Clematis vine. It has never been fuller and prettier than this year! It is unbelievable. Then at the park this little bird was putting on a show for Cammie just look below!

Boy and their toys............

Even when they are all grown up. Boys still like their toys, mine in particular. He loves his toys, which happens to be junk!!! Anything and everything he can find to bring home. He loves tools in particular. He has a whole "manhole" building (if you will) full of his precious toys! UMMMMMMM........just not sure what to do with all his toys or him these days. So I wanted to show you exactly what I am talking about. Today this is what he came home with, oh and the picture up above is him trying to tell me about it! YEAH RIGHT!

See what I mean. It is some sort of industrial type scale! Where and why????????????????????? He thinks it is just wonderful..... Boys will be boys! And their toys, well ............................................never change!

Please Pray for this family.......

I have followed this blog for a long time now. I am asking you to take just a second and lift this family up in prayer. On the right hand side of my page you will see a new button for Kayleigh Anne Freeman......if you click on it you will be taken to her page. Please go and read her story! Then come back here and finish reading my post.

Jeff asked me the other day why I read and follow on these blogs and how I kept from being depressed. I have thought to come up with an answer. First, I guess the mom in me is curious and I like to read and see how everyone is doing. THere is as much joy as there is sorrow. Seeing new babies born. Seeing little ones experience the world. I learn something new everyday. Second and the most important reason, because I get to see God working his miracles in so many people's lives. I pray for these families and rejoice when there is progress and pray when there are set backs. Sometimes I wonder why God has chosen the paths for these families, but I know that it is all in his plan. Take this family for instance, why have they had to suffer for 11 months and then ultimately give up their daughter???? Only God knows why, I believe that her very short life here on earth has probably brought many blog readers to know Jesus. Maybe that is the reason? Sometimes you think your life is rough and then you read of others and you see just how blessed you truly are. -----There are many other reasons and possibilites and I won't go into all of them. Third reason, because power of prayer really does work!!

I just pray for healing and strength for this family. So please join me in saying a prayer for them. Thanks!

Mother's Day and critters........

I hope everyone had a wonderful mother's day. I hope your day was filled with love and family. I had a good day. We spent the day with family, mom's, and friends. It was great, perfect, and beautiful weather. We even made homemade ice cream, that was sooooo YUMMY! That was wonderful! These are my cards that I received for mother's day from the girls. Jeff got me a card too, but the picture makes it look dark and you can't read it.

Then there was this little critter that I couldn't resist gettting his picture. You know I love animals, he had taken up residence under my little tree's right by the front walk! He has the bluest tail I have ever seen, it is really bright! Maybe it is a she????? Well, Happy Mother's day to her too!

Hard Rock Cafe...........

This is where Cammie chose to go and eat. We usually let the girls pick a restaurant to eat at for their birthday. So Cammie chose "Hard Rock Cafe". Here is just a few shots which we took.

The food was o.k.. The service was pretty good. The music brought back lots of memory's!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU...........

Happy Birthday to my baby girl --CAMMIE! She is 17 today! Wow, to think 17 years ago we were having a sweet baby girl. She was born at 12:03 p.m. weighing in at 8lbs 5oz. She was absolutely perfect with no hair on her little head. She was a starving baby, eating a whole whopping 4 oz right after birth. The labor and delivery nurse could not believe she drank the whole bottle and even scolded me for giving it all to her, saying she would throw it back up. Guess what she didn't!!! She was a baby you couldn't put down, because she slept with one eye open ALL the time. She was a very happy baby and did I mention a hungry baby, eating cereal at 4 weeks old and her first rib bone at 4 months old! She was the pride and joy of her momma and daddy. She STILL is! We love her so much! So Happy Birthday Cammie, we love watching you grow. You are a wondeful person and we are so proud of you and all you have become! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

On a side note--Can someone please pray for all this rain to GO AWAY!!!!! UGH!! I am soooooooo over it.

CAMMIE + MEGHAN= BFF

Well, My Cammie is now 17! She had a wonderful birthday party this weekend with family and friends. I actually got to do a small photo session in between rain storms this weekend with her and her best friend. Her best friend Meghan is graduating this year and so we wanted to do some fun shots with the both of them. Do you remember your best friend in high school? OH, I do. We still keep in touch although we have not seen each other years, we plan on meeting in Nashville this fall to see each other. Oh what fun that will be. So enough rambling and on to some pictures.
