Winter.....

From my point of view it is the "DOG DAYS OF WINTER".. What is a girl suppose to do except lay around in my bed! It is to cold for me to stay outside, chewing on my bone is getting old, and there was no one to throw my toy for me to fetch. So here I lay, in my bed while mom is snapping this picture!

I feel about the same as Ducky does these days. I am about over all this cold weather!! I am ready for spring and summer. So I just had to post this quick picture while my blog seems to be working today! YEAH!

Enjoy,

Having some technical problems.....

Sorry guys! I really wanted to post a picture today. However, for some reason I can't. Picassa and Blogger are not on the same wave length today or something. I am going to try and get this resolved so I can post. I miss when I don't get to post. :( Hopefully soon. If anyone knows why when I try to post through picassa I'm getting a message that says "text error" let me know.
Thanks,

"Happy Chinese New Year"

Guess where we went today! Yep, field trip to Mandarian House for the Chinese New Year--Lion Dance. Drums playing, cymbals banging, and Lion's dancing. It was loud and fun. Here are just a few of the many pictures Cammie took today. I think she shot over 200+ pictures, oh my!

They even gave Caitlan a red envelope with a dollar bill! She was thrilled. What fun. We had a great time, enjoyed the show and food!
Hope you all have a great week!

Friends.......

Friends are so important in life.

As a small child you have your frineds to play with. They are the ones that you beg your parents to let them come over so they can help you destroy your room with toys.

As a teen you have your friends that you call and hang out with, you think you couldn't live without seeing them everyday. You spend countless hours on the phone with them even after being at school with them all day. This use to drive my daddy crazyyyyyyyyy. Then you need to see them almost every weekend at the mall. (Yes, I am showing my age) Not sure what they do now a days.

Then as I have realized later in life (yes I am getting older) friends are there in your thoughts, you know they are thinking of you and you think of them. I have so many wonderful friends--I think of them almost everyday and wonder what you all are up to. So know that I think of you often!!

All that leading up to this....... "Friends are like bra's, always close to your heart and there for support." I think that about sums it up! Well ladies I hope you enjoyed my little ramblings for the day. Oops almost forgot--the picture is one Cammie took the other day. When I saw it I thought of friends and loved ones. So I am sharing it with you! :)

Have a great day!

And the GOOSE says.....

SNOW!!!!!!!!!!
Ducky's first snow, she was not to happy. As you can tell, she just wasn't sure about the whole situation and when I put her coat on her she wouldn't move! Too funny!

My Caitlan, she has been so sick and all she wanted to do was see the snow. SO I bundled her up really, really good and gave her 2 minutes to go out. I know this decision will win me "mother of the year" award. But my goodness, she just watned to catch a snowflake on her tongue and it is NOT everyday we get snow. (Thank goodness) So her is a couple fast shots of her all bundled up.

Enjoy, there is a few more that follows.

We have............

you will have to wait a minute to see what we have. First I wanted to share this sunrise photo Cammie took as we were going to Pigeon Forge. We were on our way to a few photography seminars. She wanted to stop and catch these shots. So I let her jump out of the van in 5 degree weather to get these, she only got 2 because she was FREEZING!
And now we have .......................................SNOW! This is about all I want to see. So here is a few pictures of our big snow----flurries!

Just wanted to share with you. Especially those of you in Florida who have been waiting for snow pictures, sorry it couldn't be more!

Can you see.........

who's queen of the house? Yep, it is the Duckster. She knows that Sundays are a day of rest. As you can see she has the sleep thing down pat! I haven't posted pictures of her in a while so I thought I would take a minute to share these. We got her almost a year ago, it is hard to believe how much joy she has brought to our family. She is really a good dog.

I hope all is staying warm. Hopefully it will warm up soon. Have a great weekend!

Wall Words.....

These pictures don't do the "wall words" justice. They really are very pretty. The light was reflecting off them and Cammie couldn't get a good shot. Here is the list of "wall words" I am considering using in the bedroom with the girls pictures....
1. All because two people fell in love.
2. Our Girls...
3. Lifes little moments...
4. family Blessings...
5. We are blessed...
6. Never forget a single minute...
7, Family is like fudge, sweet with a few nuts.
8. Only little once...
9. Our blessings from up above.
10. Tree's without roots fall over.
11. The laughter of a child is the light of the house....
12. Cherish lifes little moments...
13. In the blink of an eye...
14. Loved you yesterday
Love you still
Always have, Always will.
15.
Well that is it for now. I really like #1, #11, and #14. I am having a hard time choosing.

Life's little gifts......................

Well, I have started yet another project. Only this one is taking longer than expected. I have started painting the master bedroom. I received a new comforter set for Chirstmas and that is where it all begins..... painting, decorating, rearranging furniture, and so on. So the paint was picked out and now in the process of being applied to the walls. Furniture has been moved every which way to achieve the look and feel I want. The next task at hand is decorating, most of that is now done with the exceptions of "word walls". If you don't know what I am talking about they have a website --www.wordwalls.com
I have a very small "word wall" saying in my living room and I love it. Maybe some pictures will follow shortly. Now I am wanting some for the bedroom, however I am having a hard time deciding what it is exactly I want them to say. So if you have any ideas, drop me a line and let me know. I have one wall over our bed that is going to contain some pictures that a friend of mine took of the girls, Lori at http://www.simplysouthernphotography.com/ did the girls pictures and I love them. I wanted a "word wall" to go with these pictures. I was thinking of using one that says.... "All because two people fell in love....."
So what do you think? Leave me a comment. Click the word comment below and type away. I love reading your feedback. Other sayings like,"Our Girls", "Two Guinn Girls," have also came to mind. So as you can see it is a tough decision. Check back often for the results.

The picture up above was taken by "ME". 8) Cammie wanted to do one of her little photo shoots, so we played around and this is my favorite! Makes me feel all springy, something that I hope will come very soon, since winter started early this year. UGH, more cold weather!!

I hope you all are having a fantastic week. Stay bundled up and warm!!!

NINJA HAULER: 2005 Nissan Xterra - $12900 (Ronan / Lake County )For Sale on Craig's list: Read firstOK, let me start off by saying this Xterra is only available forpurchase by the manliest of men (or women). My friend, if it waspossible for a vehicle to sprout chest hair and a five o'clock shadow, this Nissan would look like Tom Selleck. It is just that manly. It was never intended to drive to the mall so you can pick up thatadorable shirt at Abercrombie & Fitch that you had your eye on. Itwasn't meant to transport you to yoga class or Linens & Things. No,that's what your Prius is for. If that's the kind of car you're lookingfor, then just do us all a favor and stop reading right now. I mean it.Just stop. This car was engineered by 3rd degree ninja super-warriors in thehighest mountains of Japan to serve the needs of the man that cheatsdeath on a daily basis. They didn't even consider superfluous nancy boyamenities like navigation systems (real men don't get lost), heatedleather seats (a real man doesn't let anything warm his butt), or OnStar (real men don't even know what the hell On Star is). No, this brute comes with the things us testosterone-fueled super actionjunkies need. It has a 265 HP engine to outrun the cops. It's gotspecial blood/gore resistant upholstery. It even has a first-aid kit inthe back. You know what the first aid kit has in it? A pint of whiskey,a stitch-your-own-wound kit and a hunk of leather to bite down on whenyou're operating on yourself. The Xterra also has an automatictransmission so if you're being chased by Libyan terrorists, you'llstill be able to shoot your machine gun out the window and drive at thesame time. It's saved my bacon more than once. It has room for you and the four hotties you picked up on the way to thegym to blast your pecs and hammer your glutes. There's a tow hitch topull your 50 caliber anti-Taliban, self cooling machine gun. I also justput in a new windshield to replace the one that got shot out by The Man.My price on this bad boy is an incredibly low $12,900, but I'llentertain reasonable offers. And by reasonable, I mean don't walk up andtell me you'll give me $5,000 for it. That's liable to earn you aBurmese-roundhouse-sphincter-kick with a follow up three fingeredeye-jab. Would it hurt? Hell yeah. Let's just say you won't be theprettiest guy at the Coldplay concert anymore. There's only 69,000 miles on this four-wheeled hellcat from PlanetKickass. Trust me, it will outlive you and the offspring that will carryyour name. It will live on as a monument to your machismo. Now, go look in the mirror and tell me what you see. If it's a rugged,no holds barred, super brute he-man macho Chuck Norris stunt double, then contact me. I might be out hang-gliding or BASE jumping or justchilling with my ladies, but I'll get back to you. And when I do, we'lltalk about a price over a nice glass of Schmidt while we listen toJohnny Cash. To sweeten the deal a little, I'm throwing in this pair of MC Hammerpants for the man with rippling quads that can't fit into regular pants.Yeah, you heard me. FREE MC Hammer pants. Rock on. First Time...............

for Miss Cailtan. We as a family have always gone to the Nativity Pageant every year. It is one of our favorite events to do at Christmas time. However, the last few years since Caitlan was born we have been taking turns, either Jeff would take Cammie or I would. Caitlan does not like unfamiliar territory! This is the first year in ummm--7 years we got to go as a FAMILY. I was throughly prepared to have to wait in the halls with Caitlan if she didn't do well. However, I thought it was worth a try this year to see what happened (armed with a chocolate bar and cup of water, helped) and SHE LOVED IT!

Waiting Patiently!

The Angel speaking to Mary!
What a wonderful time we had and it brings the true meaning of Christmas to all. The girls love to go, Cammie ask every year. So now we will all be able to go as a family! What a blessing!

We just needed to share about the new bed at our house.
