Beautiful Lengths

My ever so loved Cammie decided she needed a hair cut. I wasn't so sure, but after all it is her hair so off we go. The first two places were closed, WHAT! UGH! So I knew the mall was open and that is where I went. Lindsey at Regis was so great! Cammie wanted it shoulder length with layers and texture, you know teen looking! But she also wanted to donate her long length to Locks of Love. Lindsey explained just where she would have to make the cut and what would be left. Cammie wasn't so sure! However, we knew that Pantene would accept 8", so that is the route we went with. If you are not familiar with the Pantene Beautiful Lengths program here is the web site to read more about it. http://www.beautifullenths.com/ They make wigs for woman with cancer. What a wonderful thing to do. So someone will be just as beautiful as my Cammie. Enough of my ramblings I know you just want to see the photos. All photo's were taken today!

As you can see it was REALLY long. DRUM ROLL PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here she is the new and even more beautiful CAMMMMMMMMMMIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW! Short and Sassy. Looking Good! She is styling and profiling! Rockin and Rollin! Isn't it cute? (in a non-mom way)

Hope you like, let her know what you think in the comments.

Cool (non-mom) and Enjoy (Mom),

We made it..........

WOO HOO!!! This is what we had to look forward tooo. This is the line to get to the ampitheatre in Atlanta. So we sat in traffic with other Jonas Brother fans.
Here we are finally at the ampitheatre! Getting closer....... Oh I just can't wait to see them boys tonight on stage!
A quick picture of Cammie and mom before the concert started. Here we goooooooo.......
A little surprise for everyone there-----even Joe. His dad came on stage and announced that it was a special night for Joe. He was graduating! So right there on stage, Cammie got to attend Joe's graduation. What a thrill for everyone! A little something special just for the Atlanta crowd! How nice! Cammie and Mom had a good time. As mom put it, "those boys put on a good show."

Enjoy,

COOLING OFF!

With Cammie off to see the "Jonas Borthers", Caitlan and I decided to cool off on a hot summer day. So we ventured down to the World's Fair site and hit the fountains for some fun! She splashed and played the afternoon away.
I wish I would have joined her in the fun. I had sweat rolling down my back it was sooooo hot yesterday.
Doesn't this picture just say it all! FUN FUN FUN!

Do I have to tell you what the next post will be about? Yep, you guessed it the concert that Cammie attended. I was told on the phone this morning that she took over 200 pictures, they had great seats. I guess those 5 hours of trying to get tickets really did pay off! She had the time of her life!

Have a great day!

WONDERWORKS

We took our first field trip of the year to the "upside down house" as Caitlan calls it. It is actually called the wonderworks museum. One week a year they open their doors to us homeschoolers for an awesome price, this year for "FREE". So we took advantage of this great deal and drove up and spent the day. My brother Andy, his wife Rachel, and my neice Savannah met us up there. So we spent the day playing while learning. I wanted to share some pictures with you of our day.
My Caitlan swimming with the sharks. It is a virtual game where you see yourself on a screen and try to grab starfish. She had a good time playing. Yes, she had her headphones on as it was loud in there!
Cammie throwing a baseball to see if she could beat the boys. She did good.
My husband--isn't this funny. He has been asking me when was I going to blog about him, so here it is! My out of this world husband, Jeff! This one is for you!

Cammie and my mom leave in the morning for Atlanta to see the Jonas Brothers in concert, please pray that they have a safe trip!

The TROUT girls invade East Tennessee

Let me explain...These are the girls of my cousins in Florida. I had all boy cousins growing up and then they had all girls! So Nana and Papa were BRAVE enough to venture off with three teen girls. And to top it all off they came to East Tennessee for a nice visit. So the first picture (up above ) is Ms. Tammy, she is 14. The next picture (down below) is Ms. Megan.
And last but not least is Ms. Gabby! We (Cammie,Caitlan and I) went and hung out with this gang of girls for a day. I was so happy to see them. We played in the pool, went shopping and out to eat! Fun!
We had a good time and as you can see we laughed a lot. We wish you girls were closer to spend time with. I love you all!
I know that Nana and Papa were glad to get home and rest!
Enjoy!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!

Happy Birthday to my Ducky! She is turning one year old.

I can't believe that you are turning a year old. You are such a good girl. So willing to please and will fetch until ALL of our arms fall off. Here's a little more about how Ducky came to us!
We got her in January from another homeschooling family. I was looking for a little girl doggie to dress up and take for walks with me. Since our Blue man is so big and I couldn't take him with me for walks and you can't find clothes to fit him! After asking the homeschooling community if anyone had a little dog that needed a home, I found Ducky! She has turned out to be a good little watch dog (better than Blue), hunting (is forever bringing dead birds in), and companion for Caitlan (the only one that has enough energy to keep up with Caitlan). However, she is not fond of being dressed up. She was so nervous when we got her, I wasn't sure she was going to work out. I was so afraid of having to take her back. But one year later, she is still a little nervous around new people but fits in great here at HOME!
I love her so much! So to you Ducky "Happy Birthday"! We love you so much. We can't wait to see what you become in the next year!

Knoxville

It's back to school time here in Knoxville.
I thought I would post a couple pictures of
Knoxville.

This sign will no longer be part of Knoxville's sky line. It is being torn down for Riverfront development, a hospital (I believe).

Enjoy, Have a great day!
