Our trip.............

to the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga on Monday. As I promised, here are a few of the more than 300+ pictures that Cammie took. There are some really great photos. So I will only share a small portion of them, I know that you are thankful for. The first is a picture of the aquarium itself.

A quick family shot before we go in. What a good looking family if I do say so myself.

Here is the first of many animal pcitures. Two of the birds at the aquarium. They are so fun to watch. They talk and laugh and really interact with the crowd! The keepers had hid small wooden blocks inside shredded paper then in a brown paper bag. The birds had a ball playing with it.

There are many more pictures to follow, just incase you are wondering. My blog will only let me post 4 photo's at a time, so therefore I will have to make many blogs, AWWWW......................... So keep on reading!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's Penguin time......

We all really enjoyed the penguins. They were putting on a show. One of them took up with Jeff and came up to entertain him. Here are a few pictures Cammie took of the penguins.

The cutest little penguin of them all................my Caitlan. I love this picture. We had a great time watching them play, eat, swim, and entertain us.

Turtles! These three little guys were basking in the heat lamps rays.




AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH....................... Sharks! These are a couple pictures of the sharks. There are 7 sharks to be exact at the aquarium, because Caitlan asked!

Guess what this is ?????????????????? A Tiger Stingray. Very pretty and different.

I promise only a few more post of pictures at the Aquarium, hang in there! I know I am crazy and obsessed with posting pictures, but you are my friends and I *know* you want to see all these pictures. (just humor me)!

More Aquarium.........

Do you know what is cute and as playful as a toddler? A river otter and his brother. The aquarium has two river otters, they are 10 month old brothers. They were so cute and just playing like crazy; chasing each other and zipping around. It was very hard to get a picture of them, much like a toddler. One of them finely popped up just long enough for Cammie to snap this picture. Way to go Cammie, her patience paid off.

Jellyfish in motion. The Jellyfish were beautiful. I could watch them all day long, so relaxing. The next picture is a creature of a different kind---"da' huband" as he refers to himself!

A waterfall that is in the Aquarium. I thought this was a great shot of it and the foliage around it.

Well as you can see we really enjoyed our trip to the Aquarium. It was nice for us to get out and do something as a family that everyone enjoyed. We had beautiful weather and a really great time. We spent all day in Chattanooga and ran out of time, we are just going to have to take another trip down there and visit the other places we didn't get to go this time. I hope you enjoyed just a few pictures of our wonderful trip.

"Smoky Mountain Sunset"

Sunset pictures by Cammie. Nothing else really needs to be said about these gorgeous pictures.

Here is a picture that Cammie took and we are calling it...."The End"! Ducky sleeps like this all the time she gets under blankets, pillows, quilts, or whatever and sleeps. I don't know how she breaths under them, but she loves it. Too funny!

The next post will be Aquarium pictures. We are going to the Chattanooga to the"Tennessee Aquarium" tomorrow. They are hosting homeschool day. So we get in for a really good discount!!! Love when things are discounted, so look for the upcoming pictures! Should be lots of fun, Jeff took the day off to join us girls. ROAD TRIP!:)

Umm Wordless.... Thursday

O.K.... So I am a little behind. I didn't have these pictures ready yesterday for Wordless Wednesday. So I do now and we will just go with that. If you ever have wondered what we do on Friday and Saturday nights, now you know. We sit by the fire with friends and talk, it is so soothing and a great way to end the week. So if you ever wnat to join us just come by Friday or Saturday night and most likely you will find us here! The kids love it!!! Creatures all around........

I wanted to share some creature pictures. Ewwwwwwww. The creatures are in all sizes. So we will start with the smallest, this was found on the side of the house. A little Praying Mantis, I can't really say cute, how 'bout unusual? Maybe only a face a mother could love! I'm really working here to find the right words. How about NICE SHOT?

Of course I saved the best for last. Our four-legged family creatures, Ducky and Blue. Cammie has been taken 100's of pictures of them the last two days so I had to share just a couple of them. My little Ducky and then below our "big boy blue". Isn't he just handsome?

Twice........ almost gone.

Just thought I would share a feeling I have had today. As most of you know I love my flowers. Well as the summer is coming to a close I was looking at my daylillies and thinking of how much I would miss all the color. Some of my daylillies bloomed twice this year! They started blooming very early then died back a little and now they have bloomed again. What a show they put on for me to see. Here are a few last shots before they are gone.

I like the cooler weather, NOT COLD! However, I know winter is approaching and for that I am a little sad. I have so enjoyed all the colors my wonderful flowers have offered this year. So I will be enjoying these last few buds before they are all gone. I just wanted to share with you too.

She's not.........

just in a diaper. I had the pleasure of staying with Ben and Jordan (my nephew and neice) on Saturday while Jr and Karen went to the UT game. To make a long story short--Jordan needed to change clothes a couple of times. ( Yep, just like a girl) So off came the shirt! She then decided it was a game to run and play with very little clothes on. But she is so cute, I decided to snap a couple pictures.

She's not having fun..... Look at this face, she knows she has her Aunt Nay Nay all wrapped up. She is too funny! Do you ever wonder what happens when you as parents are gone and come home to only hear the kids wanting a babysitter to stay longer? The next picture might explain it.

Not playing and jumping on Daddy and Mommy's bed..... We sure did. Where's Jordan? She is hiding from me. Too Funny!

She's not the cutest little thing ever........Yep! She is and I love her so much.

Not a single picture of Ben, he wouldn't let me take one! Oh well, we enjoyed him just as much without pictures. I loved it when Caitlan and Ben put on all the dress up clothes and played King and Queen it was so cute. Sorry no pictures!!!

Caitlan dressed up.......................

WHAT?????????? My little dog Ducky! This is what came down the hall as I was on the phone the other day. My six year old who dressed the dog up in baby doll clothes. I just couldn't believe it----neither could the poor little doggie.

Oh my! Is that build a bear shorts? Yep! I just had to snap a few pictures before I made her take all the clothes off.

As you can see by this last picture Ducky is fine. She lived thru being dressed up. At lease she didn't have makeup on her like the cat did one time. Another story!

We love you Ducky! She is such a good dog. She takes all of Caitlan's doings in stride.
